The document is a legal writ requiring the defendant, Minor Hotchkiss, to produce property to satisfy a legal judgment. It is signed by the Justice of the Peace for Middlesex County, CT.This legal document, dated 24th July 1819, is custom framed, ready to hang for display or inclusion in your collection of legal documents. Its frame is gold and the matte is a dark gray green suitable for virtually any decor. This beautiful piece of antique Americana measures approximately 12 by 18 inches. The document itself is in excellent condition with the fold marks one would expect on a legal writ.
